Tuition Free Schwarzman Scholarship For International Student to study in Tsinghua University.



Brief description:


Schwarzman Scholars is the first scholarship which is designed to prepare the next generation of young, talented and global future leaders. This program will give students the world’s best and brightest opportunity to develop their leadership skills and professional breakthrough through a one-year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing – one of China’s most prestigious universities.


Level/Fields of study:
The followings are courses available for the Master’s Degree Programme disciplines:
 Public Policy.
 Economic and Business.
 International Studies.
Scholarship values:
The following scholarship values are as follows:
Covers tuition and fees,
Travel to and from Beijing at the beginning and end of the academic year.
 Required course books and supplies.
 Lenovo laptop and smartphone,
 Health insurance and a modest personal stipend.

Eligibility:
The candidate must possess an Undergraduate degree or first degree from an accredited college or university or its equivalent.  Applicants who are currently enrolled in undergraduate degree programs must be on track to successfully complete all degree requirements by 1 August 2017 before orientation begins.
Age Requirement.
Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years
Applicants must demonstrate strong English language skills, as all teaching will be conducted in English. If the applicant’s native language is not English, official English proficiency test scores must be submitted with the application. Acceptable test options are:
  • • Test of English as a Foreign Language.
  • • Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language.
  • • International English Language Testing System.
This requirement is waived for applicants who graduated from an undergraduate institution where the primary language was English for at least three years of the applicant’s academic program.

Application instructions:
To apply, you must complete an online application form and submit required documents by the deadline. Applicants who hold passports from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao can apply online from January to 31 May 2017. Applicants holding a passport from any other country, can apply from 17 April to 28 September 2017.
