The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships award is introduced to all exceptionally and talented students from outside Europe who wishes to pursue an eligible Master’s Programmes offered at the University of Amsterdam which is located in Netherlands and has the following courses offered below:
• Amsterdam Law School
• Faculty of Economics and Business
• Faculty of Science
• Graduate School of Humanities
• Graduate School of Social Sciences.
• Faculty of Economics and Business

Scholarship values and duration:
The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships is a full scholarship of €25,000 (covering tuition and living expenses) for one academic year with the possibility of extension for a second year for two-year Master’s programmes.
Eligibility:
Non-EU students from any discipline who graduated in the top 10% of their class may apply. Selection is on the basis of academic excellence, ambition and the relevance of the selected Master’s programme to a student’s future career.

Applications are made through the Admissions Offices of the Graduate Schools. Deadlines for the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships differ per Graduate School but are either 15 January 2017 or 1 February 2017 (this is earlier than the application deadline for most of the Master’s programmes.
