Brief description:
The Scholarship Programme is designed for Muslim students in Non-Member Countries which has the aims to provide academically excellence and financially needy to the young Muslim students from Muslim communities in non-member countries who wishes to pursue undergraduate or first-degree study in the institution above. This scholarship is available in any eligible Muslim countries and numbers of awarded to be offered is not specified.


Fields of study:
The following courses are available: Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture and other social science field.
Scholarship values:
The scholarships are given below:
1. Interest-free loan to the students but grants to the communities to which they belong.
2 Provision of Job opportunities immediately after graduation.
3. All graduates are obliged to repay their loan amount to the community Islamic development bank for recycling and awarding additional scholarships to the local needy students.
4. The Programme covers all relevant expenses during students’ study period, including tuition fees, health and living costs as determined by the IDB.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this scholarship, the student/applicant must be able to meet the following basic criteria:
• Maximum age of applicant must be 24.
• Completed senior secondary / pre-university education with good grades in major science subjects and language of instruction
• Secured admission in one of the disciplines covered under the Programme at a recognized college or university in their own countries
•The applicant Must be a Committed and needy Muslim.
• The applicant must be recommended by the Counterpart Organization.
Application instructions:
Inquiries can be made and application forms can be obtained from Counterpart Organizations in beneficiary countries.  The Programme is announced through the Counterpart Organizations and follows a 12-month cycle of academic and logistic activities every year.  Deadline varies but is around June-December each year.
